Sanver Hosting is a company dedicated to making technology-driven web hosting affordable to all. We are based out of Mumbai, India from where all our sales, support and technical operations take place. Our servers are located at Miami, Florida, USA. In the past few years, we have experienced massive growth and have been recognized for excellent system reliability and customer support. We attribute this success to our highly qualified team of administrators and the state-of-the-art software and equipment we use.

1. Our target customers are enterprises and corporates who are looking for a hosting company having adequate in-house technological know-how and prompt customer support systems and services. We do not aim to target rate hunters (like Indiatimes and Net4India) or those who require basic and simple web hosting (like Rediff).

2. We are yet not as big as Net4, Rediff and Indiatimes (we would love to be No:1 for sure), and hence our customer support is very personalized and system based. For example we use world's leading Cerberus HelpDesk Management Software to provide Email Ticket System with a mandate to our support staff to resolve tickets in under 60 minutes. We also provide online chat for sales and tech support (here also we use leading open source chat software- Crafty Syntax). Sadly the big three are way behind these parameters.

3. We provide FREE Microsoft SQL Server database and unlimited FREE MySQL databases to all our Windows and Linux packages respectively. You have to pay Rs.2000/database extra if you host with Net4 and Rediff. Enterprise Access Manager required for MS-SQL Db management is not provided by Net4 (they say it is a security risk!). We provide it with all Windows hosting packs. We are not clear whether Rediff and Indiatimes are providing EAM.

4. Net4 and Rediff charge you additional amount for ASP.Net 2.0 support in their Windows hosting packs. As compared to Net4India, all our Windows hosting packs have ASP 3.0, ASP.Net 1.1 and ASP 2.0 support as default.

5. Net4 has a in-house developed hosting control panel which is extremely low in functionality and reliability. Sanver uses all the world's leading control panel namely H-Sphere, Plesk and cPanel.

6. Net4 and Rediff charge additional amount for Emails, based on number of email required by the client. We do not charge any additional amount for emails! All our hosting packs feature unlimited number of email ids. As against the Email Control panels of Net4India and Rediff, our control panel empowers clients to control a number of parameters related to email management (like spam levels, auto responders, email aliases etc.).

7. Net4India provides a Domain Management control Panel which is very basic and is low in reliability and dependability. Rediff does not give you any (believe me!). Both of them do not provide DNS management facility!. Indiatimes is a domain reseller of another company who are themselves resellers of another domain registration company (phew!). We provide a very powerful Domain Control Panel and DNS management tools (see it at http://domains.sanver.com).

8. If you want to compare prices, please go ahead and compare rates based on features offered. You will find that not only we are very affordable but also the cheapest of all these three leading companies. Our hosting is very affordable not only to individuals but to big corporates as well (like Kintetic Engineering, Pune - they have dedicated server from us).

Our servers are located in the NAP Of The Americas, in Miami Florida. Nap of the Americas is one of the most impressive datacenters in the world. This datacenter uses a state-of-the-art environmental control system that regulates temperature and humidity levels throughout the facility. The server rooms are the heart of the facility. Here, bunker-style construction provides for non-stop operations and protection of your e-business infrastructure. The only entrance to the server rooms is through highly secured entryways, protected with palm scanners, Card-Key and keypad locks. State-of-the-art fire suppression & electric systems prevent any fire or power surges from disrupting server operations.

With 750,000 sq. ft. of datacenter space, it has everything necessary to withstand the worst hurricanes possible. No windows, 12 million pounds of concrete and steel ballast on the roof alone, a record 100,000 square foot PSI beam and concrete slab was poured as its foundation, is located outside the 100 year flood zone and, of course, is able to withstand a Category 5 Hurricane. In case of massive power outages, there are 6 massive generators in the upper corners of the building with almost 200,000 gallons of diesel fuel storage! The roof slope is designed to aid in drainage of floodwater in excess of 100-year storm intensity assisted by 18 rooftop drains. Our equipment is located on the 2nd floor and up which is 32 feet above sea level (ground floor is already 14 feet above sea level)

The facility uses CISCO-only routers and switches setup for redundancy and reliability. We are connected by premium tier-1 carriers such as InterNAP which ensure 100% network reliability. This translates into faster downloads and better reliability for our customers

Our servers run only Dual Xeon or Pentium 4 (Hyper-Threaded) processors for maximum efficiency. A minimum of 2GB of server-grade DDRAM is fitted into each of these machines. Our web servers run top-of-the-line Ultra320 SCSI hard disks (10 times more efficient than ordinary SATA hard disks) in a RAID1 configuration. This means that 2 SCSI hard disks are setup in an array which remain an exact mirror of each other at all times. If one hard disk fails, the other picks up immediately ensuring maximum reliability. All our servers are backed up to secure NAS servers every 24 to 48 hours. This along with RAID1 ensures that your data is more safer with us than on your hard disk! We use a powerful internal CISCO firewall to maintain network security and protect our systems from harmful internet traffic.
